No. Recovery, available heat input, distribution and demand all matter. Select the arrangement from the required duty rather than storage volume alone.

Why is one outlet cold when the heater works?

The local pipework, circulation, valve or mixing arrangement may be involved. Identify the affected outlets so diagnosis reaches the relevant part of the system.

Can an existing heater be repaired?

The defect, condition, parts availability and suitability determine the options. A repair proposal should explain whether it addresses the reported problem and any wider limitations.

Can replacement be phased across buildings?

Yes. Each system needs its own shutdown and commissioning plan, linked to the operational activities and hot-water demand it serves.
